Tucker Powersports Expands ranges of Bikes, Skateboards, Scooters
One of the country’s largest Powersports product distributors has just increased their already impressive lineup of EV machines – and with the updated ranges of bikes, scooters, and skateboards, Tucker’s goals to ‘focus on preparing for an electric future’ are impressive and right in line with Jamie Kempinski, Tucker’s Director of Business Development.
“Electric products are a part of our future and they deserve a place alongside a dealership’s current product offering. Our growing lineup of ePower products, our online training tools, and our knowledgeable field sales team make us a great partner for dealers preparing for an electric future.”
With that said, let’s dig into the new stuff.
FANTIC
Three new bicycle models are now available from Italian supplier Fantic, with Tucker’s press release stating that the new units include “mountain bikes, a commuter e-bike as well as the revolutionary Issimo, a step-through e-bike that has won design awards across Europe…[featuring] 20-inch fat tires, mid-motor, and front suspension.”
UBCO
Rolling in courtesy of supplier Utility Bike Company (UBCO) is a range of practical bicycles that come with integrated tech, making the machine smartphone compatible with over-the-air upgrades (if needed) to complement the durable two-wheel drive build of the units.
EVOLVE
Evolve’s popular lineup now boasts seven new skateboards, including the Carbon GTR, Bamboo GTR and Stoke ranges. A heads up – the GTR series have both off-road and street models, with all units boasting a very nice dramatic look to complement your commute aesthetic.
In addition to the above, Tucker has added not one, not two, but three new underwater scooters to their ePower and Water lineups, with the Yamaha Explorer, Yamaha Sea Wing II, and Yamaha RDS250 licensed products supplied by Jet Pilot.
Dualtron and Speedway also have a new arrival of e-scooters, with today’s focus being on accessible, portable electric vehicles for the urban commute.
“[Tucker] has also launched a training series specifically designed to help dealers add ePower items to their business operations,” continues the press release.
“The education program will assist employees in understanding the products and working with customers that may be new to the dealership and to ePower products. The training is part of a redesigned Tucker University, an online portal that is available to all Tucker dealers on-field staff.
We wish Tucker Powersports the very best in their future successes; judging by their movement in the motorcycle space this past year alone, the multiple-eggs-in-multiple-baskets thing is a catchy investment for the brand – and we can’t wait to see what they bring us in the coming months.
